About The Course

Mechanical Engineering is the branch of engineering dealing with the design, construction and use of systems and machines. It is one of the broadest and most versatile of the engineering professions and offers a wide scope in terms of career opportunities in all areas of industry.

The Mechanical Engineer applies scientific principles to the design, development, construction, installation, operation and maintenance of the machines and systems that drive our world. Focus is on the instruction of solid mechanics, dynamics and thermo-fluids.

Design is central where team skills as well as individual skills are developed. The programmes are structured around the study of mathematics, physics, chemistry, materials, the design process, and management studies.
